Polka Dot

Hi everyone hope you all are doing well, as for me the start of beautiful spring came with a glum, on Sunday evening me and my sister received the sad news of our cousin’s death back home in sierra Leone. It was a shock to us because he was so young and full of life (sometimes we forget death does not come with an age restriction) I called my uncle and he couldn’t stop crying on the phone and me and my sister cried with him as I could sense his deep agony of losing a first child. Apparently he was sick and the doctors were not able to detect the real problem so it went from one complication to another which is really sad and it makes me wonder if he was in a first world country like me if the story would have been different as back home they lack the right or should I say effective medical resources to treat patients and to make the situation even worse the country is still trying to find ways to combat the Ebola outbreak were thousands of people lost their lives and still counting.

As I write this post I think about the things I take for granted being over here (In Australia) while others in my country and around the world are lacking the mere necessity to survive. He was a smart and humble boy full of life and potential the world did not get to experience much, I know God created him for a particular purpose and I wonder if he got the chance to fulfil that purpose or was called too soon by his creator. I know God doesn’t have any oops moment but he carefully orchestrated his plans as he is God alone but I hope and pray his purpose was accomplished.

Life is such a vapour one minute we are here and the next we are gone and one can only hope that when your time is up people can remember you of at least one life changing moment in a person or the world.

What are you doing right now with your life to make it count?

My Fashion Corner:

OK if you have been through my blog you will now come to the conclusion am in the business of black and white incorporated with other colours, so when I found black and white together in little circles pattern called polka dot a combination of two of my favourite colours I was hmmmmm perfect  the designer was thinking of me the entire time (wishful thinking) . But on a serious note though I have also been a fan of polka dot and I worn it differently in a previous post and I always use a pop colour to show the contrast.

Till then talk soon …… Thanks for stopping by
