It’s no news that our wardrobe says a lot about us. Have you ever been told that you can judge a man by his shoes? Unfortunately, it’s not that simple.

There is no piece or style that makes a woman look good. That little black dress, blazer or hat. Your clothing style says a lot about your personality and what you’re thinking. Wearing a bold hat with a long hair projects a different image than a Nike cap with a low ponytail. Your clothing style can speak volumes about you before you even open your mouth to say a word.

I know a lot of you ladies will testify to this. Sometimes you would have taken a particular attire out to wear but feeling a certain way will make you change your mind about it. Our moods and how we feel play a huge part on how we dress and what colour we put on.

Let us take a look at some of the most popular colours that women wear and what it has to say about them.

Black and Green

We all love to wear black or have worn black at one point. Wearing black gives the appearance of authority and impress without being too showy, but most of all it makes us look slimmer.

Now a days green is becoming more popular. It is the colour of harmony and balance. Most people who wear green tend to be environmentally friendly.

In the fashion world to take the edge off choose something with a bit of embellishment like a lace or ruffles and add either a gold belt or a green pair of shoes to it will put you on top of the game.

If you are not a big fan of green why not try green slim pants with a black top and jacket or better still some green earrings to match your green bag. If you are feeling game try and mix it with a beige pair of high heels that will really make you look twice.

Orange, Pink and Blue

I personally love bright colours as I think it is a way to show my vibrant self and feel alive. Orange and pink are colours of luxury, affection and pleasure, it showcases youth and strength.

One of my favourite colours is blue, as the ocean peaceful and fresh. It brings out a soft, soothing, compassionate and caring feel.

Gold or nude goes well with that blue dress you been waiting on. The serene shade soothes the person wearing it and makes the people around them feel at ease.

Because of its very bright nature you should wear it with either white or black to tone it down. If you are feeling more adventurous try an orange mid knee dress with a pair of blue heels, short outfits goes well with long hair, add some length to your hair with some clip in human hair extensions you will be surprised how may heads get turned!

               

Grey and Red

Most women who go for this colour are either feeling down or just can’t be bothered with things.

The colour red gives the impression of a strong and romantic woman. It also can show how optimistic, zest for life, uncomplicated and intense we are. As women we want to feel romantic and show our inner beauty.

Adding a bit of spice to your grey outfit with some bright red shoes can make your style pop. Try wearing a red pump the next time you throw on a grey flowing dress.

My favorite is a pair of jeans with a red bag and heels. Make no mistake this is divine.

              

White and Blue

Whenever we wear white we portray cleanliness, simplicity and purity. As we all know majority of people on their wedding day wear white wedding dress due to the belief of one’s purity and innocence.

Any white outfit can go with anything so why not mix it with that favourite blue outfit you got in your wardrobe.

Purple and Yellow

Purple is highly individual, witty and sensitive, with a strong desire to be unique and different. If you chose purple or yellow, you tend to be unconventional, tolerant and dignified. This shade draws out the creative artist within because it is one of those colours that people either love or hate wearing.

These are colours of happiness, wisdom and imagination. Yellow and purple usually goes with a sunny and a strong sense of humor.

Next time you see that yellow top or skirt don’t be afraid to mix it with some black pumps or a black belt for dress.

Brown

Brown has stamina and patience, tending to be very solid and substantial, conscientious, dependable, steady and conservative. Brown is worn by women mostly in winter.

A simple pair of leather knee high boots can be worn in a variety of different outfits from daytime casual, and even more formal evening wear. Brown high boots with a t-shirt and jumper. To make it classier why not try a brown knee length dress with a pair of light brown boots and top it off with any of your favorite jacket. Don’t be shy to accessorize it with some jewellery.
